2. The sealing effect of supercharger oil seal (non-contact type) decreases
For supercharged diesel engines, because of low load, no load, low supercharging pressure. Easy to lead to the decrease of the sealing effect of the supercharger oil seal (non-contact), oil into the pressurization chamber, along with the intake into the cylinder;
3. Form carbon deposition
Part of the oil flowing to the cylinder is involved in combustion, part of the oil can not completely burn, in the valve, inlet, piston top, piston ring and other places to form carbon, and part of the exhaust discharge. In this way, the cylinder liner exhaust duct will gradually accumulate oil, will also form carbon accumulation;
4. Oil leakage
The supercharger chamber oil accumulation to a certain extent, will leak from the supercharger joint surface;
5. The overhaul is ahead of schedule
Long-term small load operation will lead to more serious wear of moving parts, deterioration of engine combustion environment and other consequences leading to early overhaul period.
Therefore, foreign diesel engine manufacturers emphasize to reduce the low/no-load running time as much as possible, and stipulate that the minimum load should not be less than 25%-30% of the rated power of the unit.
