Ac/DC power supply circuit insulation

When the AC/DC power supply is connected to the grounded conductor of the load, a current path is formed at the negative end of the AC/DC power cable except the shunt resistance. As a result, the charging current of the AC/DC power supply is shunt. As a result, the current display value of the AC/DC power supply is lower than the set value, and the error is large. To avoid this situation, we must pay special attention to the circuit insulation protection of the AC and DC power supply, and confirm with the AC and DC power shipper how the ground wire is grounded.

Ac/DC power supply detection circuits are usually insulated and ungrounded. After this countermeasure is implemented, the display value of the AC/DC ammeter will no longer be different from the set value. Current detection circuits can now be easily insulated using AC and DC power current sensors. The AC/DC power system and the customer's equipment constitute a whole, for the final AC/DC power complete type.
In order to better adapt to the customer's load test environment, the AC/DC power supplier should also proactively understand the grounding condition of the customer's load circuit in the early stage to prepare for the adaptation of the AC/DC power supply to the load. This can reduce post-delivery problems, such as bringing maintenance and after-sales problems affecting the relationship with the customer.
In many cases, many problems can be solved by early communication. Ac-dc power companies cannot rely solely on experience and technology to manufacture AC-DC power. More importantly, AC and DC power supplies must meet customer test environment requirements. However, the customer's test environment often changes significantly. The same customer also has different requirements for grounding and insulation of AC and DC power supplies. Therefore, early communication is very important.
