Typical applications of electronic loads

With the development of technology and the increase of power demand, people pay more and more attention to energy saving. Manufacturers compete to develop energy-saving products. Strict testing of power supply and power consuming devices broadens the application field of DC electronic load. So what are the typical applications of electronic loads?

1, Power converter and inverter test - fast test DC-DC, AC-DC and DC-AC. Electronic load has simulation function, using different grades of load to test the maximum and minimum voltage level, electronic load also has ripple and noise measurement, load and power adjustment, over voltage and over current protection test.
2. Uninterruptible Power supply (UPS) - AC power supply, DC power supply, DC load and AC load are required to complete the test. Dc electronic loads test backup batteries and chargers, and AC loads test the entire UPS system. Load test is performed to verify the power supply capability and voltage stability of UPS power supply under different load conditions and the working efficiency of the control system.
3. Battery and fuel cell - constant load compared to resistive load group, thus reducing test time. The CP mode is used for capacity testing to provide consistent power consumption as the battery voltage decreases over time. Electronic load can be programmed to output a variety of fast jumping load curve, the user can test the battery charge-discharge cycle characteristic curve.
Typical electronic loads have the following functions:
• Multiple measurement functions, which can measure voltage, current, power and peak value
• Input and measured readings can be displayed through the panel
• Independent channel work
• Built-in pulse generator for continuous operation, pulse operation and trigger transient operation
• Trigger input to support parallel configuration of synchronous measurement
